During the Autumn Term, in order to improve times tables accuracy and fluency across the school, we relaunched how Times Table Rock Stars is used. Using TT Rock Stars throughout the school allows children to compete in online times table battles against their peers both at school but also at home. On a weekly basis, all classes have the chance to fight it out to become the TT Rock Star Champions, the winner of which is revealed in our weekly ‘Star Pupil’ assembly. This has created fierce competition between both children and staff, which we are looking forward to continuing this term!
On top of this, we have also introduced termly TT Rock Star tournaments where children in Years 2 to 6 battle in their classes to be named Most Value Player (MVP). These players receive a Most Value Player trophy which they can take home to keep for the remainder of the term.
